Thank you to Alex and Trevor for a great, first, Welton le marsh, history project evening, held at the Wheel Inn. It was wonderful to learn so many historic details about this lovely little village. It was wonderful to see a healthy turn out for this event and hopefully more historic data will be forthcoming from those that attended.

Even though I’m classed as an “outsider” I found the event very interesting, maybe someone could throw some light on a later period ie the war years??
Many thanks Alex and Trevor

Jim, thanks glad you enjoyed it. We plan to look at forces war records to find any historical military connections to the village, both from the 20th century and before. Alex
